Things to Do in Bremen: Best Sights, Map & 1–2 Day Itinerary

Bremen is an old Hanseatic port on the Weser River and, together with Bremerhaven, Germany's smallest federal state. Its heart is the market square: the Gothic Town Hall with its Weser Renaissance facade and the stone Roland statue of 1404 have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004, flanked by the cathedral and the famous bronze of the Town Musicians of Bremen. A few minutes away are the expressionist Böttcherstrasse and the Schnoor, the city's oldest neighborhood.

On this page you will find our picks for a first visit, a one-day and a two-day itinerary with a trip to Bremerhaven, getting in from Bremen Airport (BRE) and the full list of Bremen sights in the tripto.de catalog. Opening hours and prices are on each attraction page – please check with the venue before you go.
