Cookie Policy
tripto.de uses only a few cookies and entries in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). Here we explain exactly what is stored on your device, why and for how long. We do not use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies.

Legal basis
Under Section 25(1) of the German TDDDG, storing information on your device or accessing it requires your consent — unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). We use only such necessary technologies; no consent is required for them.
Where personal data is processed, the legal basis for necessary technologies is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the feature) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (security).
Necessary (no consent required)
- sb-<project-id>-auth-token (first-party cookie, possibly split into parts .0, .1 etc.) — keeps you signed in (Supabase). Set only after sign-in; valid until you sign out, at most about 400 days.
- sb-<project-id>-auth-token-code-verifier (first-party cookie) — temporary protection of sign-in via email link or Google; removed once sign-in completes.
- tripto:saved-places:v2 (localStorage) — your saved places when you are not signed in. Kept until you remove places or clear browser data; it is not sent to us.
What we do not use
- No analytics, advertising, marketing or social media cookies and no affiliate tracking cookies.
- Your browser loads map tiles (OpenFreeMap) and images (img.tripto.pl via Cloudflare) from these services’ servers; we do not use them to set cookies. As with any file request, those servers do see your IP address.
- Our own statistics are recorded without cookies, without user identifiers and without storing IP addresses.
Consent
As we use only necessary technologies, we show no cookie banner and do not ask for consent.
Browser settings
You can also view, block and delete cookies and local storage in your browser (usually under “Privacy” or “Cookies and site data”). If you block necessary technologies, some features — e.g. sign-in or saved places — may not work.
