Terms of sale for digital map posters

Effective from 12 October 2026

These terms govern purchases of map posters (digital content) on tripto.de. Please read them before ordering — accepting them is required to buy.

1. Seller

Your contractual partner and seller is Bartosz Kołodziej, Łubowo 127, 62-260 Łubowo, Polen, e-mail kontakt@tripto.de (“we”, the “Seller”). Contact for orders and complaints: kontakt@tripto.de.

Payment and VAT are handled through Stripe Managed Payments: the merchant of record for the payment is Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe group company (“Link”). The “Sold Through Link Terms” (https://link.com/terms#sold-through-link-terms) also apply to the payment. We remain responsible for the content, supply and conformity of the digital content.

2. Scope and definitions

These terms apply to purchases of map posters (digital files) on tripto.de. A consumer is any natural person who concludes a transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession. Conflicting terms of the buyer do not apply.

3. Subject of the contract and technical requirements

The Seller supplies digital content: a poster in PDF and PNG (up to 300 dpi, size according to the chosen format), made to order according to the parameters set by the Buyer in the editor (place, map extent, theme, format, texts).

Any device with a browser or a PDF/PNG viewer can open the files. The files have no DRM. An e-mail address is required to order.

The editor preview reflects the poster design; small colour differences in print may result from the printer, paper and print settings.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are final prices in euros including statutory VAT. There are no delivery costs. Prices may be reduced with a promotion code on the payment page.

Payment is handled by Link (Stripe). The payment methods shown on the payment page are available (e.g. credit or debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link). Payment is due when you order. Your bank statement shows the charge with the reference “LINK.COM*”.

Link calculates and remits VAT and automatically e-mails you a receipt or invoice (PDF) after payment. Businesses can enter their VAT ID on the payment page.

5. Conclusion of the contract

The presentation in the poster editor is not a binding offer. You make a binding offer by entering your e-mail address, accepting these terms, making the statement on the right of withdrawal and clicking “Buy now”; you are then taken to the payment page. The contract is concluded when payment is successfully completed. Until then you can correct your entries or cancel at any time; unpaid orders expire after 60 minutes.

The contract language is German (this English version is for information). We do not store the contract text separately; you receive a confirmation with the order details by e-mail, and these terms are available on this page at any time and can be saved or printed.

6. Delivery

After payment, the file is generated automatically, usually within minutes (at the latest within 24 hours). We send the download link by e-mail and show it on the order page. The link works for 30 days — please save the files; afterwards we will regenerate the file free of charge on request.

7. Right of withdrawal

Right of withdrawal: you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day the contract is concluded. To exercise it, you must inform us (Bartosz Kołodziej, Łubowo 127, 62-260 Łubowo, Polen, kontakt@tripto.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal: if you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days of the day on which we receive your notice, using the same means of payment you used for the original transaction; you will not incur any fees as a result.

Refunds are paid out through Link (Stripe) to the original means of payment. You can also request a withdrawal or refund directly from Link support (https://support.link.com/topics/sold-through-link); any further rights granted to you under the Link terms remain unaffected.

Early expiry: the right of withdrawal expires for a contract for the supply of digital content not on a tangible medium once we have begun performance, after you have (1) expressly agreed that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period, (2) acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and (3) we have sent you a confirmation of the contract (Section 356(5) BGB; Art. 16(m) Directive 2011/83/EU). You give this consent when ordering; the file is generated immediately after payment. If the file has not yet been provided, you may still withdraw.

Model withdrawal form — complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract:

To: Bartosz Kołodziej, Łubowo 127, 62-260 Łubowo, Polen, kontakt@tripto.de. I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the supply of the following digital content (*)/service (*): … Ordered on (*)/received on (*): … Name of consumer(s): … Address of consumer(s): … Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper): … Date: … (*) Delete as appropriate.

8. Warranty, complaints and liability

The statutory warranty rights for digital products apply. We must supply the digital content free of defects. If there is a defect, we will first restore conformity (e.g. regenerate the file or restore access); otherwise you may reduce the price or end the contract in accordance with the law.

Please send complaints to kontakt@tripto.de with your order number or the e-mail address used for the purchase and a short description. We reply within 14 days.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Licence and map data

The Buyer receives a non-exclusive, perpetual licence for personal, non-commercial use (printing for own use, including as a gift). Reselling the file or prints and sharing the file for mass reproduction is prohibited.

Maps are based on data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL), with a style based on the OpenMapTiles schema (© OpenMapTiles) and OpenFreeMap infrastructure. The data attribution is included in the PDF metadata, on the order page and in these terms; it is not printed on the poster itself. If the print is displayed publicly, please credit “© OpenStreetMap contributors” next to it.

10. Dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. For cross-border disputes, the European Consumer Centre network (ECC-Net) offers free assistance.

11. Personal data

The Seller is the data controller. We process your e-mail address and order data to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and invoicing data to meet tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Payment and billing data are processed by Link and Stripe as independent controllers. Details: tripto.de privacy policy.

12. Final provisions

The version of these terms in force when you order applies. The law of the Seller’s place of business applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; for consumers, this choice of law does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the country of their habitual residence (in particular German consumer law). If a provision is invalid, the rest of the contract remains in force.
